The Airwrap is a versatile device that allows many hairstyles, but is it suitable for very curly hair or even type 4 hair that is often fine and fragile?

For a classic blow-dry, the round brush of the device does the job as well as other brushes on the market in less than 20 minutes.

What’s more, the Airwrap is less likely to damage hair fibers thanks to its reasonable temperature.

If you want to straighten your hair with the nozzle of the straightening brush, you can also get very good results. However, you will have to spend some time detangling your hair with the round brush.

Tip: After blow-drying, you can use the Coanda effect on the appliance to pull your hair in and use a hand comb to detangle it more effectively.

Afro hair is generally thinner than other types of hair. This does not prevent you from creating beautiful curls with the dedicated nozzle of the device. However, they may not last as long as on other hair types.

2. Part your hair
